Front of House / Reception Team member

We’re looking for a warm and confident Front of House team member to be the welcoming face of Plas Weunydd. You’ll be responsible for handling calls, emails, and bookings for the hotel and glamping stays, as well as greeting guests as they arrive.

Since you will be the go-to person for our visitors, knowing the local area and feeling comfortable recommending North Wales experiences is essential. Hospitality is a team effort. During busy periods, you’ll need to be hands-on and ready to help other departments, including the Accommodation team. Keeping everyone informed about arrivals, departures, special occasions, and upgrades is a vital part of the role.

  • Strong knowledge of the hotel, glamping pods, and the surrounding area

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Self-motivated with a proactive, hands-on approach

  • Highly organised and able to multitask effectively

  • Able to handle high-pressure situations with a calm and professional demeanour

  • Competent computer skills

Night Porter

We're looking for a warm and friendly Night Porter to look after our guests and the Plas Weunydd site overnight. You'll be the welcoming face for late arrivals and the go-to person to help guests understand our facilities and discover what the local area has to offer.

You'll handle a mix of reception duties like answering calls, emails, and managing bookings for both the hotel and glamping stays. You'll also be responsible for completing thorough security and safety checks to keep everyone secure. Hospitality is a team effort, so you'll need to pitch in during busy evening periods, especially at the bar and restaurant, as well as keeping on top of cleanliness standards throughout the night.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

  • Capable of carrying out thorough security and maintenance checks

  • A hands-on approach to night duties and guest welfare

  • Basic computer skills (navigating the internet, using email, and file management)

  • A driving licence is advantageous, but not essential
